Kitchen and Bathroom Portfolio Photography for a Los Angeles Builder
A builder’s portfolio needs to show more than a finished room. It should help prospective clients see the layout, understand the materials, and appreciate the care that went into the work. For this Los Angeles project, I photographed the kitchen and bathrooms with a mix of wide views and closer details to create a useful collection for the builder’s website, social media, and other marketing.
Lighting was central to the shoot. I used flash to keep the spaces bright and engaging while paying close attention to the direction of the existing light and the natural shadows it created. The aim was to reveal the cabinetry, surfaces, fixtures, and finishes clearly without making the rooms feel flat or artificially lit.
Wide photographs show how each space works as a whole. Detail images draw attention to the choices and craftsmanship that a visitor might otherwise miss. Together, they give the builder flexibility: a complete project gallery for the website, individual images for social posts, and photographs suited to future promotional materials.
